Straight lines

'Straight lines' is another extension which can be found in the extensions window. Currently, when you create a mindmap and

add new nodes to it, the current connection is shown using curves.

The disadvantage is that for large maps, it won't look good. Especially, if the map is large and beyond screen limits; when you have to scroll. Sometimes you can have difficulty seeing the connections with curves. Straight lines extension comes to the rescue of this.

For large maps with many nodes in it, with straight lines you can make out the connections easier.

Just turn it on, and voila! all curves are replaced with straight lines. For some people, this can give more pleasing look.

Ofcourse, you can turn off this feature by unticking 'Straight lines' option in the extensions window.
